Conditions in key production areas are fairing quite well right now.
According to USDA Meteorologist Brad Rippey, there is no more bad weather in sight. The decent conditions have led to some improved crop conditions, including corn.
“That leaves us this week at 67% good to excellent, 10% very poor to poor. That of course compares quite favorably to last year at this time when we were sitting at 557% good to excellent and 13% very poor to poor,” he explains.
He went on to share that soybeans saw little to no change over the past week, rating 68% good to excellent and only 8% very poor to poor.
