The northern plains get ready to hunker down for freezing temperatures as a fall blizzard – with the likelihood of up to two feet of snow! – takes aim at the Dakotas. Temperatures have the potential to fall more than 50 degrees over the next 24 hours over the northern plains. Some corners of the Nebraska fell into the upper 20s last night, and are forecast to fall to as low as 21 degrees tonight. According to successful farming, the freeze warning begins at 7 PM and runs through midday tomorrow.
