A woman in Logan County, Oklahoma claims that she stumbled upon a field of dead horses at a former horse rescue.
The woman received a phone call from somebody alerting her to the situation. When the woman arrived she found roughly 54 horse carcases. She stated that the field was littered with bones and beer cans.
The sheriff for the county told Oklahoma 4 News that they have received reports of this tragedy and will be looking into it.
Video taken by KFOR News shows at least five carcasses, the rest are covered by trees according to the woman.
