Despite inflation over the last year, organic consumers are sticking with the brand. Industry leaders say it is a step in the right direction.
The Organic Trade Association shows food sales rose 3.5 percent in 2023, totaling $63.8 billion. Sales on non-food organic products reached nearly $6 billion. Combined, that makes up the largest number of organic sales in history.
Data from the Nutrition Business Journal shows sales were up largely due to higher prices, which are up around 40 percent.
