The Pine Gulch fire is now 125,108 acres, making it the second-largest wildfire in Colorado history.

The Rocky Mountain Incident Management Team said firefighting efforts are going well to the north and east sides of the fire, but strong winds from an overnight storm have caused the fire to expand west.

The fire was 87,778 acres and was 7% contained as of Tuesday evening.
