The Association of Equipment Manufacturers is weighing in on the labor shortage.
The group says it wants to see policies to address workforce and supply chain issues. An AEM leader tells Brownfield Ag News there are as many as 80,000 open positions in the industry, between both manufacturers and suppliers. As demand remains strong, manufacturers cannot keep up.
AEM says most are sold out for this year and into the second quarter of 2024.
