NASHVILLE, TN – February 23, 2023 – RFD-TV is proud to support the National FFA and today will be assisting the organization during its national fundraising campaign, Give FFA Day, by matching up to the first $100,000 in donations and using the network’s nationwide platform to encourage viewers to donate as well. During the 24 hours of giving, donors can donate to the National FFA and the state FFA associations of their choice.
Each year during National FFA Week, FFA Alumni, parents, corporate partners
and supporters celebrate Give FFA Day by uniting for 24 hours of giving back. These contributions support the members, teachers, and programs that embody the FFA vision, to provide the next generation of leaders who will change the world. On Give FFA Day 2022, the FFA community raised $440,385. This year, FFA is challenging its community to achieve even more impact, with a goal to raise $850,823 in 24 hours.
“No one does a better job of preparing leaders for the next generation than FFA,” Patrick Gottsch, president of Rural Media Group Inc., said. “For 22 years now, RFD-TV has supported FFA in every way possible, and I am so proud to be associated with the best of America’s youth. Anyone who donates to FFA with their time or money can be assured that it is going to be a great investment.”
The National FFA Organization is a school-based national youth leadership development organization of more than 850,000 student members as part of 8,995 local FFA chapters in all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
