Queen Elizabeth II’s husband, Prince Philip passed away Friday at the age of 99 years old.
According to Buckingham Palace, he passed away peacefully at Windsor Castle.
Philip was the father of Prince Charles and the grandfather of Prince William and Prince Harry. His other children include Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward.
He was 26 years old when he married Queen Elizabeth back in 1947, she was 21. He retired from public life back in 2017.
His health in recent years had him in the hospital on various occasions.
