Producers are feeling positive about their farm’s financial condition, but inflation is still an anxiety

Producer sentiment has improved thanks to strengthened commodity prices. However, inflation concerns have many speculating over potential hurdles moving forward.

That is according to the latest Ag Economy Barometer, which rose eight points in April.

Purdue University’s Ag Economics Professor, Dr. Jim Mintert spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander about what contributed to the rise, how these numbers are different than this time last year and if the war in Ukraine is playing a role in farm and machinery purchases.
