Promoting pears during the pandemic has brought its fair share of challenges.
However, Neil Ferguson, the Creative Marketing Director at Pear Bureau Northwest, launched a virtual flavor experience, which showcases northwest pear growers and their orchards.
According to Ferguson, “Going into the season, obviously, we are not doing as much in store sampling, or pretty much none at all due to the pandemic. So, we’ve been trying to think of creative ways to communicate what the experience of eating, biting into a perfectly ripe pear is like, and communicate that sort of digitally and visually to consumers.”
