Protecting Producer’s Pastures: Illinois farmers can now apply for depredation permits for black vultures

Livestock producers are well aware of the potential threats posed by black vultures. Illinois farmers now have the ability to apply for depredation permits to better protect their animals.

Tasha Bunting with the Illinois Farm Bureau spoke with RFD-TV on the risk black vultures pose on livestock, how they are assisting producers in the application process, and the long-term benefits of depredation permits.
