Queen of Country Music, Dolly Parton has passed at the age of 80

The Queen of Country Music and Tennessee, Dolly Parton has passed away at the age of 80.

On a video posted to social media, Dolly’s nephew, Brain Seaver, the son of Cassie Parton, stated, “I’m representing the Parton and Owens family today announcing the passing of my aunt, Dolly Rebecca Parton Dean...”

From being one of country music’s biggest acts, to being an icon in not only music but also culture, she touched many through her philanthropic work like Imagination Library which gave out over 300 million books to young children.
