Ranchers in Kansas are asked not to burn grasslands this coming season. Burning these grasslands stimulates the grass and cuts down on unwanted tree growth. The request comes as it relates to the coronavirus pandemic.
Tom Leffler, a market analyst, states, “They’re worried about all the smoke it puts in the air and that comes with respiratory problems, and respiratory problems is one of the problems with the coronavirus.”
