KXAN News reports a rare pink grasshopper was found in an Austin, Texas garden on Sunday.
Angela Barger sent KXAN News the photo of the pink grasshopper.
The grasshopper is pink due to a genetic mutation according to National Geographic.
The mutation is called erythrism and is caused by a recessive gene similar to the one that affects albino animals.
