Rodeo Houston’s Stock Show kept breaking its own records this year!

Not only did the Junior Market Steer Reserve Grand Champion set a record, but the Grand Champion did as well! Over the weekend, Mason Grady’s steer took home the title of Grand Champion and went on to set a new rodeo record-- selling for an impressive $1.5 million at auction.

Mason’s family has been showing for years, so he is no stranger to the ring. He has even won Rodeo Houston’s stock show before, but with a hog.

With this, the total amount of money from donors surpassed $5 million.
