This January, RFD-TV is bringing back the classic series, “The Jimmy Dean Show,” for viewers and fans. For this special “Rural America Live,” we’ll be joined by Jimmy’s surviving wife, Donna Dean, Project Producer Jim Della Croce, and Restoration Producer Steve Boyle as they take you behind-the-scenes of this timeless series. We’ll talk with some of the stars who performed on the show and learn the back story of “Big Bad John.” Plus, we’ll learn how he pulled off a country music variety show in the middle of the Big Apple. Finally we’ll meet Jim Henson’s first TV Muppet, “Rowlf the Dog.”
