Rural electric groups are gathered in Music City to discuss the big issues

America’s rural electric cooperatives are currently gathered for their annual meeting right here in Nashville.
It is focused on a number of initiatives to advance electric infrastructure in our rural communities.

CEO of the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association, Jim Matheson spoke with RFD-TV’s own Janet Adkison on how the meetings are going so far and what they would like to see moving forward.

Also, the CEO of the Swquachee Valley Electric Coop, Mike Partin spoke with Janet about how they are working together to fund broadband equity and the main discrepancies in rural broadband maps.
