OMAHA, Neb. (RFD-TV) — With diabetes affecting millions of Americans and disproportionately impacting rural communities, this week’s Rural Health Matters on the Market Day Report turned its focus to prevention, education, and long-term management.
University of Nebraska President Dr. Jeffrey Gold joined the program to discuss the widespread prevalence of diabetes, why rural populations often face higher risks, and what steps individuals and communities can take to improve health outcomes.
