Rural Mainstreet Index suggests farm incomes could trend lower in 2024

Rural bankers are expecting farm incomes to potentially trend lower in 2024. That is according to the latest Rural Mainstreet Index, which sank below growth neutral for a fourth straight month.

Dr. Ernie Goss with Crayton University spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander on what stands out, producer confidence, and what producers should keep an eye on.
