Russia stalls progress on the Black Sea export deal, according to Ukraine

The World Trade Organization says it is important to keep global trade a priority. It is why they have been holding discussions on the Black Sea Grain Deal which could now be in jeopardy.

Just this week, a senior Ukrainian Minister said Russia had stopped registering ships entering ports in the region. A UN spokesperson tells Reuters that Moscow could continue limiting registrations until all parties agree to unblock shipments of Russian ammonia.

UN officials say there has been a slowdown in goods leaving Black Sea ports since April and the average daily inspection rate has fallen to just three ships.
