International Dairy Foods Association is calling on Administration to negotiate free trade agreements

U.S. ag exports have been on a downward trend for several years, and the International Dairy Foods Association is calling on the U.S. Trade Representative to remove barriers and negotiate better free trade agreements.

They are also calling on the Administration to reduce tariffs. The Association says U.S. ag is experiencing a trade deficit because the trade office is not advancing policies that remove barriers for dairy exports. Their requests come ahead of public testimony next month, where the USTR will talk about ways to improve the U.S. supply chain through negotiations and enforcement.
