Safeguarding Rural Roadways: Who is liable if dirt from fields causes an accident?

Rural roadways come with a number of unique safety challenges. While we often hear of hazards of farm equipment on roads, accidents can also arise due to blowing dirt from farm fields, severely limiting visibility which leaves many wondering who might be responsible for potential injuries.

Roger McEowen with the Washburn School of Law spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander on issues to look out for, legal responsibility, and advice for producers.
