Scot England grew up in rural Central Illinois. After being the paperboy in his hometown of 200 people, Scot started working for the local radio station when he was in high school. Scot worked more than a decade in radio…spending most of his time as a country music D.J. During that time, he became known for his country music and entertainment interviews. Scot then moved from radio broadcasting to television news. Most of his 15 years as a TV news anchor/reporter were spent in Decatur Illinois….home of Archer Daniels Midland and the Farm Progress Show. Scot has won numerous broadcast and journalism awards, including the Associated Press Television Reporter of the Year for the state of Illinois. Scot has been married to his wife Jayne for 26 years. They have a 12 year old daughter, Alison.
