Secretary Vilsack lays out 2023 USDA priorities

Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack has laid out his priorities for 2023. He says the focus will be helping Congress write the next Farm Bill.

However, USDA will also focus on implementing programs it launched in the last fifteen months like the Climate Smart Partnership, the Food System Transformation Initiatives, and the Organic Transition Assistance Program.

Vilsack says that trade will also be a priority in the new year.
