Sen. Boozman: If the Farm Bill does not address PLC reference prices, I won’t vote for it

Senator John Boozman, the ranking member of the Senate Ag Committee, says he has a major sticking point when it comes to his vote on this year’s Farm Bill.

He says the legislation must provide improvements to the Price Loss Coverage program reference prices, adding he is concerned about the agriculture risk coverage program and crop insurance. He says he will not vote for a Farm Bill that fails to address it.

Boozman does say Senate Ag Committee Chair Debbie Stabenow has committed to finding the money necessary to address those concerns.
