The Senate Finance Committee approved the USMCA today, moving it closer to ratification.
It passed in a 25-3 vote, which sends the USMCA agreement to the full Senate, which could pass the agreement this month.
The agreement goes into effect only when all three countries have ratified it.
Mexico has already ratified the agreement while Canada may not approve it until later this month.
