NASHVILLE, Tenn (RFD-TV) U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) sat down with “Market Day Report” today to discuss the needs of rural America and advocating for the agriculture industry. Trade, broadband and border control are among several of the issues addressed by Senator Blackburn.
“Whether someone is in agriculture, auto manufacturing or working on services in the financial industry, what they tell us this will create more jobs, give us more markets, give us free and fair trade…” Senator Blackburn said about the new USMCA trade deal. “We think the votes are there” to pass the USMCA by the August recess.
With 5G entering the marketplace “What we’re trying to do now is to continue to remove barriers to entry,” Blackburn said concerning broadband Internet.
