WLKY News reports small Kentucky farm owners Shelly and Justin Roberts realized some of their over 40 goats were missing from their farm Thursday.
“We went out to check on them and 6 of the babies were missing,” Shelly Roberts told WLKY. “We’ve been frantically looking everywhere for them. We’ve asked neighbors. We’ve ruled out coyotes. I’m pretty sure they were stolen.”
Four of the goats were boar goats, which sell for the most money when buying and selling goat meat.
The goats were just a month old according to Roberts, who was stunned that someone would take their baby goats.
The family has filed a report with the local Sheriff’s Office.
