Small FFA Chapters In Alabama Are Making A Big Difference With Their Calhoun Country Special Needs Rodeo

In Calhoun County, Alabama, small town FFA chapters are making a big impact!

Since 2022, seven schools from around the county come together to bring a little bit of joy to special education students by hosting their annual Calhoun Country Special Needs Rodeo.

The local FFA chapters set up a variety of activities for the students to have fun with, including pumpkin painting, a photo booth, and an “Ag in Action” trailer— to name a few.

Katelynn Dumar and Addisyn Hammonds from Weaver FFA spoke with RFD-TV’s Suzanne Alexander about this years event, working with other schools, and the impact from helping others.
