Small refiners drop EPA lawsuit over RFS deadlines

Small refiners have dropped their lawsuit against EPA’s compliance schedule.

Refiners were challenging the Environmental Protection Agency’s regulations that revised the Renewable Fuel Standard compliance deadlines.
They say that the resulting schedule required them to surrender their RFS credits to the agency more often than average and it deprived them of the normal thirteen-month lead time.

They dropped the suit after losing a closely related case.
