U.S. corn farmers welcome the signing of a trade agreement with Japan while eying momentum towards finishing other trade agreements including the USMCA.
National Corn Growers Association President Kevin Ross with other farm leaders joined President Trump at the White House during the signing ceremony Monday. Ross calls the agreement, which secures the second-largest corn export market for U.S. farmers, a positive step forward.
From last week’s small refinery waivers announcement, to the Japan agreement and USMCA, Ross says there’s plenty more work to do.
