Spring rain causes issues for Carolina crops

Spring rains cause big issues for planting in the Carolinas.

Bayer agronomist, Zach Webb says that cotton is seeing the worst of it. The crop should be a foot tall but it is only about 4 inches high with few leaves. He notes that the roots just eroded away with the rain; corn, tobacco, and soybeans are not doing much better either. He believes that there will be a lot of prevented plant acres this season.
