Stars from various musical genres and other celebrities took to social media to express their grief after losing country music’s Glen Campbell yesterday. The 81-year-old Country Music Hall of Fame member died in Nashville on Tuesday (Aug. 8) after a prolonged battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Those paying tribute included fellow hall of fame member Dolly Parton, country superstar Alan Jackson, Rob Thomas (the lead singer of rock group Matchbox Twenty), Campbell’s daughter Ashley, Beatle Ringo Starr, former President Bill Clinton, Senator John McCain and more.
