STC visits Panama Canal to see how much of a global impact drought is having on ag

Drought continues taking a toll on the Panama Canal, limiting the number of daily transits permitted, and it is having notable ripple effects on the global economy, including agriculture.

Leaders with the Soy Transportation Coalition visited the canal earlier this week to get some first-hand perspective on the situation.

Executive Director, Mike Steenhoek spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander on how the trip went, the impact it is having on the ag economy, and what the future holds.
