Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin says that the $600 dollar relief checks started being deposited last night, and paper checks will hit the mail today.
It happened after the Senate leader blocked a measure to increase the amount to $2,000 dollars. More money could eventually go out, if the Senate does end up voting to increase the amount.
