About two dozen head of cattle that were stolen from Wabaunsee County, Kansas may now be in Nebraska.

The Nebraska Branding Committee is asking for the public in the northern part of the state to keep an eye out for the 25 mixed breed cattle, which include Charolais and Angus.

The heifers are about 800 pounds and are red, black, red/white or black/white. They are branded “3M.”

The Nebraska Branding Committee said the “3M” brand on the left hip is registered in Nebraska but according to investigators, the distance is enough to where the brands are not related.
