China wants U.S. to address tariffs

U.S. and Chinese officials continue to work out phase one trade details.

According to Brownfield Ag News, China’s Ministry Of Commerce spokesperson says tariffs must be removed before a final agreement can be reached. Following negotiations last week, the U.S. suspended the tariff increase on October 15th. China continues to make good on its promise to buy more ag products.

According to USDA’s latest weekly export sales, the country purchased 850,500 metric tons of soybeans and 94,00 metric tons of pork.
