Several ag groups claim the EPA tried to hide information regarding electric vehicles

There is more controversy surrounding electric vehicles as several ag groups are going to court, claiming the EPA tried to hide information over procedures for testing fuel economy.

Recently, the Agency laid out emissions standards that will take effect in 2027, limiting many auto manufacturers to electric or hybrid vehicles.

Groups such as the Texas Corn Producers and National Sorghum Growers claim the testing methods used by the EPA to measure fuel economy were deeply hidden within the rule. They claim the procedures illegally penalize ethanol and the farmers who contribute to it.
