The European Union wants to restart trade negotiations with the United States.

According to the NAFB, The EU is proposing a joint agenda that covers everything from aircraft subsidies to lobster tariffs to shared medical supply reserves.

EU Trade Commissioner Phil Hogan believes a deal can be reached. Prior to the coronavirus pandemic, President Trump had taken issues with EU barriers on U.S. ag exports.

According to the NAFB, one of the main barriers for ag exports could be over aircraft subsidies.
