University of Missouri Field Specialist, “Dr. Bug” breaks down the 2024 cicada outlook

Billions of buzzing insects are expected to emerge across the southeast in the coming weeks, and while cicadas are not always a welcomed sight for some, an expert breaks down the real risks they may pose.

University of Missouri Field Specialist, Tamra Reall, aka Dr. Bug, spoke to RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander on what areas might see them, the potential threat to agriculture, and how people can protect their plants.
