An Arkansas poultry company is ordered to pay more than $28 thousand dollars for not providing information in a wastewater violation lawsuit.
The Mountaire Corporation facility in Sussex County, Delaware was accused over two years ago of damaging property and causing personal injury due to wastewater discharge. The judge dismissed a motion from Mountaire to throw out the class action lawsuit. The company claimed the Delaware Superior Court did not have jurisdiction.
