The latest drought monitor was released this morning and shows no relief in the West.
In fact, many locations set records this week for the driest three month period. However, parts of the Midwest, South, and southeast did receive heavy rainfall which brought some drought improvement. The High Plains remained largely unchanged this week.
The Rice Trader/Farm and Trade Inc. CEO and President, Jeremy Zwinger, spoke with RFD-TV’s own Janet Adkison about how farmers are coping with the drought, an update on the potential of longshoreman going on strike in California and how that strike could have an impact on the nut market’s shipping market.
