As we enter the growing season, drone operators are being cautioned not to interfere with low-flying manned agriculture aircrafts, which treat well over 100 million acres of cropland in the U.S. each year.
National Ag Aviation Association CEO Andrew Moore spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander about how common these encounters are, some indicators that point to a big year for aerial applicators, a few recommendations for drone operators and some safety concerns brought by various drone companies.
