Update from the Field: Harvesting winter wheat in Kansas

Combines are rolling in Kansas as winter wheat harvest moves northward. While conditions are looking better than other states, we have been hearing of a higher-than-average wheat abandonment rate due to drought.

Ryan Haffner with U.S. Custom Harvesters spoke with RFD-TV’s own Janet Adkison on current conditions, what challenges he has faced so far, and how the labor shortage may be playing a factor.
