Stream RuralRadio147 on SiriusXM for free

SiriusXM has announced that it is opening up streams of all of its programming for free online, through May 15.

The stream is available online or via the SiriusXM app. Users are still encouraged to sign up with a credit card, but it’s not necessary. All of the channels, including Rural Radio Channel 147, are accessible now by clicking “Watch and listen now” (on the Android app) or “Start free preview” (on the web site) and selecting a channel. According to CNET, the iOS app on an iPhone and it still requires a login. iPhone users can access the stream using the web app on Safari and Chrome browsers.

RURAL RADIO Channel 147 on SiriusXM, is the agribusiness and Western lifestyle channel for the U.S. and Canada. RURAL RADIO’s programming is focused on agriculture, equine, hunting, fishing, Western sports, and living the country life in small towns and ranches. Listeners can hear extensive weekday programming devoted to rural news, weather, and commodity market reports “live” from the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Afternoons feature interactive shows answering agricultural questions, while the evenings and weekends showcase western sports, including coverage of bull-riding and rodeos from around the country.
