Astronomy fans will have an opportunity to see the “Super Worm Moon” Monday night.
Monday’s full moon will be the final full moon of the winter and will appear slightly larger than all others throughout the season.
The moon is called a “Worm Moon” in The Old Farmers Almanac. It is called such in reference to the ground beginning to soften enough for earthworm casts to reappear.
