Supporting Farm Operations Act looks to freeze H-2A worker wages at 2023 levels

We continue to hear about labor hurdles impacting farmers across the country. Newly introduced legislation is now aiming to help alleviate the situation by freezing H-2A worker wages, which have sharply risen over the years.

President and CEO of the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives, Chuck Conner spoke with RFD-TV’s own Tammi Arender on the impact wage increases are having on producers, the Supporting Farm Operations Act, and next steps for the legislation.
