As the United States continues to be hit by the coronavirus pandemic, Switzerland showed support for Americans by projecting an American flag onto the country’s famed Matterhorn in the alps.
“Magnificent! Last night, #Switzerland sent a message of #hope and solidarity to the US by projecting the American flag onto the peak of the iconic #Swiss mountain, the Matterhorn,” the U.S. Ambassador to Switzerland tweeted.
The country has sent similar messages of solidarity to Japan and Germany this week as well.
