Regan, Tennessee’s Victor Siwik was fishing for carp out of Reelfoot Lake. He had already caught 20 of the invasive species when he reeled in something extremely unique.
When he snagged number 21 he knew something was different. The way it took the bait, he knew that it was going to be the biggest catch of the day. Siwik would be shocked by the fact that he actually caught a rare white and yellow bighead carp.
“When I first saw it I had no idea what it was because all I saw was white and yellow... The only thing I could think of was, ‘I can’t lose this fish,’” Siwik stated, according to the Tennessean.
His amazing catch weighed in at just over 41 pounds and was 4' 1" in length.
