Tennessee State 4-H Youth Advocate For Agriculture

Tennessee 4-H State Council Vice President, Aaron Lay joined RFD-TV during “Market Day Report” to talk about leadership opportunities that 4-H gives students. In the leadership component of 4-H, students participate in agriculture leadership activities as well as community service events. Lay talked about being involved in agriculture literacy and being able to take his show heifers to elementary schools. For many students, this is their first experience with being able to get interact with farm animals and learn about agriculture.
